Exchange overview — bRRAIn Docs

What the bRRAIn Exchange is and how it differs from the Marketplace.

Exchange overview

The Exchange at exchange.brrain.io is the bRRAIn content marketplace — a catalog of skills, plans, standards, projects, datasets, LoRA adapters, and templates that load into your Vault and your Handler.

Exchange vs Marketplace

If the Marketplace is for software (installable extensions), the Exchange is for content — knowledge, methods, configurations, training data, and templates that you bring into bRRAIn rather than running alongside it.

| Marketplace | Exchange | |---|---| | Installable extensions (Go / Python / Node services) | Content packages (data, prompts, templates, adapters) | | Run as child processes in your pod | Ingested into your Vault or Handler | | Versioned binaries with signature verification | Versioned content with checksum verification | | Per-org subscription / per-seat / metered billing | One-time purchase, optional recurring license | | Often stateful runtimes | Mostly static content (with some metered LoRA usage) |

What's in the Exchange

Skills

Pre-engineered prompts, agent recipes, and tool-use patterns. Drop into your Agent Orchestrator or call directly from the SDK.

Examples: "Customer-support triage skill", "Contract clause extraction skill", "Incident-postmortem facilitator skill".

Plans

Multi-step orchestration plans. Like Marketplace extensions but lighter-weight — they're orchestrations and templates rather than running services.

Examples: "GDPR DSAR response plan", "New-employee onboarding plan", "Quarterly business-review plan".

Standards

Industry standards, regulatory frameworks, and best-practice playbooks pre-loaded into your bRRAIn for citation and Q&A.

Examples: "NIST 800-53 control library", "ISO 27001 control library", "PMBOK 7 reference".

Projects

Complete project templates — ontology + sample data + orchestrations + dashboards — that bootstrap a use case.

Examples: "Site-reliability incident management project", "Product launch coordination project".

Datasets

Curated datasets for training, fine-tuning, or evaluation.

Examples: "Legal contract corpus (de-identified)", "Manufacturing defect image set".

LoRA adapters

Fine-tuned model adapters that swap into your Handler for vertical specialization.

Examples: "Medical-coding adapter", "Maritime-logistics adapter".

Templates

Document templates, presentation templates, dashboard templates.

Pricing models

  • Free — many skills, some standards.
  • One-time purchase — projects, most templates.
  • Annual license — datasets, LoRA adapters, premium standards.
  • Metered — usage-based for some LoRA adapters (per-token at the adapter).

  • Independent consultants packaging their methodology.
  • Consultancies productizing their playbooks.
  • Standards bodies offering official frameworks.
