Fleet Management & Logistics Dispatch — bRRAIn Docs

Multi-vehicle dispatch with bRRAIn-driven route intelligence.

Fleet Management & Logistics Dispatch

Dispatch and route intelligence for vehicle fleets — delivery, field service, transit, mobile workforce — with bRRAIn reasoning over the live state.

What it does

Vehicle fleet operations need real-time visibility, smart dispatch, and post-hoc reporting. The extension provides:

  • Vehicle registry — every vehicle, driver, and route asset tracked.
  • Live map — fleet positions, ETAs, and exception state.
  • Smart dispatch — bRRAIn-assisted assignment of jobs to drivers.
  • Route intelligence — multi-stop routing with traffic, weather, customer-window awareness.
  • Customer notifications — automated ETA updates by SMS, email, or branded portal.
  • Cost and compliance reporting — per-vehicle, per-driver, per-route accounting.

Use cases

  • Last-mile delivery operations (consumer or B2B).
  • Field-service technician dispatch.
  • Mobile health-services routing.
  • Inter-facility logistics for healthcare and lab networks.
  • Mobile-workforce management (sales, inspections, audits).

Installing

Per-organization subscription with per-vehicle entitlement.

After install:

  • A fleet view appears in your Console.
  • The first-time wizard registers your first vehicle and runs a sample dispatch.

Vehicle registry

Each vehicle has:

  • Make, model, year, license plate.
  • Telematics integration (OEM API, third-party trackers, ELD-compliant devices).
  • Driver assignments.
  • Service history.
  • Current status (available, en route, at stop, returning, OOC).

Driver app

A companion mobile app for drivers:

  • Today's route with turn-by-turn navigation.
  • Job details and customer info.
  • Proof-of-service capture (photo, signature, barcode scan).
  • In-app messaging with dispatch.
  • Hours-of-service compliance for regulated fleets.

Smart dispatch

bRRAIn-assisted dispatch considers:

  • Vehicle availability and current location.
  • Driver shift and skill matching.
  • Job priority and customer SLA.
  • Traffic and weather forecast.
  • Vehicle maintenance state.
  • Cost and emissions optimization.

Operators can override any assignment manually. The dispatcher learns from manual overrides over time.

Route intelligence

Multi-stop optimization:

  • Time-window constraints per stop.
  • Vehicle-capacity constraints (weight, volume, refrigeration class).
  • Driver-route preferences (where supported by your union or HR rules).
  • Fuel and emissions estimation.

Routes are recomputed as conditions change — a closed road, a delayed customer arrival, a vehicle reporting fault.

Customer notifications

Automated by job event:

  • "Out for delivery."
  • "Arriving in 10 minutes."
  • "Arrived; please be available."
  • "Completed; signed by [name]."

Notifications go via SMS (Twilio), email, push (your branded mobile app), or a customer portal you embed in your website.

Compliance reporting

Per-vehicle, per-driver:

  • Hours-of-service logs.
  • Mileage and fuel.
  • Telematics events (harsh braking, speeding, idle time).
  • DOT / regulatory inspections.

Exports in regulator-ready formats.

Scopes required

  • Read and write in the extensions/fleet-dispatch zone.
  • Access to telematics, mapping, and customer-notification integrations.
  • Permission to spawn non-human actors for dispatch automation.
